Adam has a keen interest in applied ecology and the sustainable use of natural resources. With extensive experience in the field and laboratory, his work spans marine and terrestrial environments.
Adam holds a B.Sc Hons in Marine biology from the University of Plymouth (2008) and MRes in Ecosystem-based management of marine systems from the University of St Andrews (2013).
Before moving to TCD Adam worked as a research assistant at Lund University on landscape ecology and toxicology, with a specific focus on pollinator interactions in agricultural and semi-natural habitats. Within the Plant-climate Interaction Lab, Adam is working on the EPA 5-Year Assessment Report on climate change.
