I completed my PhD in Plant Ecology at Trinity College Dublin in 2015. Shortly after, I started working with Jenny and her team at UCD. My work included running growth chamber experiments to better understand plant responses to future predicted changes in climate. I had the pleasure of working with taxonomists, climate change modellers, and plant physiologists. I developed a mechanistic understanding of how plants respond to climate change. I worked with deciduous trees and epiphytic plants.

In 2017 I took up a position as Senior Lecturer and Plant Science Programme Leader at Edge Hill University, UK. I am currently working on plant ecology, taxonomy, genetics and climate in Honduras, the UK, Brazil, and Papua New Genea.
